I've lived here in Lyons for the last 13 years after moving from Austin, Texas with my husband Mark. We have always enjoyed the mountains, the music and most of all the community of people that make up Lyons, Colorado. I've spent over 25 years in elementary education as a teacher, including 6 years at Lyons Elementary.  You can still find me subbing occasionally and volunteering at the elementary school when I'm not out playing music with my upright bass, or helping with the local meals on wheels program. 

I have loved the openness and accepting feel of the Lyons Community Church family from our first step in the door as a new person to town years ago, and it is now a privilege to be on the team as the part-time Communications Coordinator for our church.
